Review: Check-in happens at the state park visitor center/office. Helpful staff let us know about some hiking trails as well.
Our site was in the middle loop, which doesn’t have a bathroom. It was very pretty with a nice view of the Gulf/beach. There are a lot of seabirds just a short walk away and nature trails are easily accessed by car.
Gravel site with grass in-between sites. Not many trees. Sites were big, so it didn’t feel crowded. Tons of birds and cool breezes made this a wonderful campground.
We would definitely come back to this park, but it’s probably very hot in the summer.
