Review:

Big Bear RV Park is situated close to the Parks Highway with a Palmer address, but probably closer to Wasilla. The check-in process was smooth and we were easily able to get into our large pull-through gravel site that was quite level.

The campground is nothing special in terms of scenery, with few trees except around the perimeter, but it is conveniently located for shopping and for visiting sights in Palmer/Wasilla or driving to Hatcher Pass. The laundry room facilities were large and very clean.

We would probably stay here again if we needed a place in the Palmer area. While not as scenic as some Alaska campgrounds, it was well-equipped and in a good location.
