REVIEW:  This park is very convenient if you’re passing through Albuquerque, as it’s right off I-40, just west of town. We stayed two nights, visiting family in the area and doing a bit of sightseeing. Nothing in ABQ is that far away, except at rush hour.

The campground has a great check-in area and store, and they even serve free continental breakfast every morning (basically bagels, English muffins, juice and coffee). We were escorted to our pull-through site on a level concrete slab, next to a grassy area. There are a number of shade trees and quite a bit of grass, so this isn’t your typical RV parking lot in the desert.

There are two locations for showers and laundry, so plenty of room for everyone. If you want to wash your rig, they charge a fee, but since water is precious in the area, we didn’t begrudge that. You do hear some freeway traffic, even inside the rig, but this was otherwise a very nice park, and we would stay here again.
