Review: Angel Fire is a very nice RV park in a valley surrounded by mountains. There is a perimeter walking trail, a beautiful clubhouse and a bathhouse that has a spa and firepit.

There aren’t very many trees in the campground, so not much privacy, but the sites are large, level, concrete pads. It was very cold at night (even in mid-May), so we had to unhook our water so it wouldn’t freeze. Elevation is 8375 feet.

We chose this campground for its proximity to Taos, and that was a good choice. You’re also very close to the Kit Carson National Forest, where we hiked the Elliot Barker Trail.

From the campground, we saw elk, prairie dogs, a coyote, Canada geese, and red-winged blackbirds.

We would definitely stay here again if in the Taos/Angel Fire area.
