Review:

The Azalea Glen RV Park is located less than a half-mile from Sue-Meg State Park (formerly Patrick’s Point State Park) in a wooded campground with lots of flower boxes and privacy plants.

Site #38 was a pull-through in the center of the three RV lanes with a little picnic area completely enclosed with private hedges. Sites were on grassy gravel and quite level.

There were some permanent residents here, but the park was very clean and well-cared-for. At check-in we received a little goodie bag and very friendly directions.

The campground is a bit tricky to get into–you definitely want to go in the southernmost access point, but then you wind around a bit, cross the narrow bridge, and finally get to the check-in spot. We just kept following the signs and drove very slowly. You exit out of the northernmost point, which is more straightforward.

We would definitely stay here again if we were in the Trinidad area. Though small, it was way better than Sounds of the Sea RV Park, where we stayed once before. We even liked this park better than staying in the state park campground, since Azalea Glen has hookups and level sites (not found in the state park).

The private picnic area in our site.
