Review: We wanted to see what this 10-10-10 park was like, and it was very nice. The road getting in was a bit rough (so what else is new?), but there was good signage in both directions. The office staff were very helpful and we had an escort to take us to our site.

There are a fair number of seasonal sites, but we had our own little section—an adequate pull-through site with full hookups. Not many trees for privacy, but it wasn’t too crowded when we were there.

The office staff were extremely helpful in giving us information about Baddeck Lobster Suppers (definitely do this!) and Donelda’s Puffin Boat Tours in Englishtown (definitely do this!). They also gave us accurate information about the timing of driving the Cabot Trail to Cheticamp (do this if you have time) and visiting the Alexander Graham Bell historic site (also very interesting). The camp store is well-stocked, and overall, we found this to be a very pleasant stay.
