Review:

This campground is near the end of the Glacier Highway and provides access to the towns of Stewart, BC and nearby Hyder, AK. It was recently sold and the couple that bought it has put a lot of money into fixing it up. One of the owners checked us in and gave us lots of information about what to do in Stewart and Hyder.

Sites are either back-in or pull-in, depending on which side of the pedestal you’re on. A and B sites share a pedestal and the slides can be very close together, so that is something to watch for.

Sites are level gravel with grass in between. There are bushes around many of the sites, and the cats loved eating the grass here. Picnic tables are provided and the campground store has a lot of helpful items.

The showers are coin-operated but not too expensive.

We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Stewart and Hyder.
