Review:
Boulder Creek RV Resort in Lone Pine, California, is a very well-maintained and clean campground right off Highway 395 in the Eastern Sierra. Close to the Alabama Hills, Whitney Portal, and the Manzanar Internment Camp, it’s a great location for exploring the Southern Sierra or heading out to Death Valley.
Sites are level with dirt/gravel. The camp store where you check in is well stocked, and there is a nice pool, clubhouse, play area next to the store.
Though it can be very windy here, and there aren’t a lot of trees for privacy, it’s a strategic stop on the way to the northern Sierras or just to hang out in the area for awhile.
Very friendly staff gave us a smooth check-in process. We preferred Site #48 over #26 because it has a little more room and a better view. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
