Bullards Beach State Park Campground is situated just north of Bandon, OR, off of the 101 freeway, near where the Coquille River meets the Pacific Ocean. This campground has both full hookup and electric/water sites, though by the time we booked, we couldn’t get a full hookup site. There is a good dump station, that was very popular on the Sunday morning we left.

The campground is a few miles back from the beach, which helps when it’s a foggy day, common in this part of Oregon. Sites are a good size and provide a lot of privacy through trees and bushes. The check-in process was smooth even though we were early for check-in (which is listed as 4 pm). We unhooked near the check-in station, though near the dump station would be better.

Site B-38 was a level back-in site on asphalt with surrounding grass, dirt and trees. The cats loved the privacy and the evidence of gophers and birds. We rode our bikes to the lighthouse/beach (6 miles round trip), very level, though quite windy.

We would definitely stay here again if we wanted to stay in the Bandon area. We liked Loop B the best when we walked around.
