Review: Don’t be put off by the fact that this is a motel and campground. The grounds are very large and we couldn’t even see the motel from where we were camped. There is a large seasonal presence, but it was one of the neatest we’ve seen. Nothing looked trashy or unkempt.

Check-in process was straightforward. Though it’s a French-speaking area, the office staff spoke better English than my French, so we did just fine.

When we arrived, we were the only RV in the nightly section, but a few others did come the next day. Sites are well-spaced with some trees. Utilities were well-positioned.

They have a sister park, Camping Colibru sur Mer, which is right on the water, but has no trees. I think it’s quite a bit smaller. Both seemed pretty good.

This was a great park from which to access Village Historique Acadien, which we highly recommend!

During our two-night stay, a robin built a nest next to our RV engine. We couldn’t believe it! So check your engine before you drive off. We would stay here again.
