Review: The best thing about this campground is its location, with a wonderful view of Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island. It is a fairly small park, right off the main highway and on the side of a cliff. You do hear some road noise and there is not much privacy between sites (few trees).
The sites are fairly level with a mix of grass and gravel. The road into the campground is short but a bit steep. Check-in was straightforward, but two things to note: 1) they did not have a record of my reservation, even though I had a printed email confirmation (fortunately, they had plenty of room); 2) they only accept cash payments.
The location can be very windy, and if there is a thunderstorm, you are very exposed on the cliff. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again. You’re close to town and you have a great view. That’s all we need!
