Review: This RV park is right off the freeway and you do hear some traffic noise, especially at rush hour. There are also freight trains that go by a few times per day. It wasn’t that noticeable, but some people have really complained on the reviews about the train and traffic noise.

The campground is just on the edge of town, so it’s close to gas stations, a BBQ restaurant, a small market, etc., but still feels like it’s in the country. The check-in process was easy and we were escorted to our site by the staff. The sites are level and gravel, with grass and small trees separating each site. There are lots of birds around and we saw a number of rabbits just a short distance away.
When you make your reservation, you can put a note in the comment line (or tell them over the phone) that you want to be on the opposite side from the train tracks. The park is in two halves, and the side away from the tracks was full up when we got there.

The laundry area was clean, but small. Only two washers and two dryers. There is a small exercise room with a pool table, couch and TV. The park was very clean. They pick up your trash every morning and have a fenced-in dog park with benches for the people.

The park is less than 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park, about 30 minutes to Bowling Green, and 40 minutes to Lincoln’s Birthplace, so it’s a great central location for these sights.
