Review: Cedar Breaks RV Park was a last-minute addition and we were able to call the day before and reserve a site. Office staff were friendly and helpful. We have now stayed here at least four times because it is a convenient stop on our way to and from Grand Teton/Yellowstone.

It’s a small park and the sites are pretty close together. They’re not very long, so we had a little trouble fitting our tow vehicle in the site, but managed it barely.

There’s not much shade here, and it can be very hot in the summer, so if you book in advance, request a site with shade (we didn’t have any). Sites are level gravel with a little bit of raised grass in between. Sites are supposed to have picnic tables, but our site was missing one (we didn’t really need it, but FYI).

The campground store was pretty much empty. We have stayed here multiple times, and we would probably stay here again if we needed a place in Cedar City. Because the elevation is higher than St. George, it can be about 10 degrees cooler, which was a definite plus in early August!
