Review:
The Dubois/Wind River KOA Campground was an emergency addition to our schedule, since we needed to get some service done on our RV (Bull’s was right next to the campground).
The office staff were very friendly, both in making a service recommendation and in finding a last-minute site for us. Though expensive, the site was right on the river, so that was very nice. Sites are mostly level and gravel, with grass and trees in between the sites. The campground roads are also gravel.
The campground needs a little TLC. It feels a bit tired around the grounds. However, the bathrooms were very nice and there is a huge game room and indoor pool.
We would possibly stay here again if we needed a campground in this area. There is another campground we would probably prefer—both Windhaven RV and Longhorn Ranch have better ratings, but we stayed at the KOA because it was walking distance to the service place.
