Review:

This campground has recently become a KOA, but the campground itself has been around for awhile. It is situated right on the Chena River and there are some benches and swings to enjoy while you watch the river go by.

Sites are level gravel with grass in between the sites. Our back-in site backed up against bushes and trees, which provided both shade and interest for the cats.

Check-in was straightforward and there is plenty of room to unhook. We were escorted to our campsite by a staff member. There is a gas station right next to the campground and a small convenience store.

Our friends’ dogs enjoyed the fenced dog park where the dogs could run off-leash.

We would definitely stay here again if we were in the Fairbanks area.
