Review: This was a rough road to get here, so it’s a good thing it was worth it. The 114 from the northwest is a mess (coming from Moncton the road was much better, which we took on the way out). You also have a very steep and windy descent into the campground area, so downshift and go slow.

The campground is right next to the visitors’ center and easy to get into. Sites are gravel and pretty level with grass and trees in between the large and long sites. This is a big campground and it was almost empty when we were there, so it felt very spacious.
You can walk over to the Yurt section and look down on the town of Alma (with its extreme tidal change), so that was a fun activity twice a day.

A very quiet campground in a beautiful wooded setting. We would definitely stay here again.
