Review:

This campground is located in the small town of Haines about 1 mile from the waterfront. Sites are level and grassy, not too long, but fairly wide. Not much privacy between sites, but in the back of the site there were bushes, so the road was hidden.

Check-in was smooth, and the laundry and bathroom facilities were very clean. The campground hosted multiple caravans while we were there, so it was full, but it didn’t feel crowded.

We were able to walk to the Haines Packing Company store and the small grocery store on Main Street. And we were able to drive in all directions from the centrally-located campground.

Though we would stay at Haines Hitch Up again, we would also consider Oceanside RV Park, which has been renovated and has sites right on the water.
