Site #22, Pull-through, full hookups, 50-amp
We paid: $85 per night
Review: This was a very nice, uncrowded campground just north of Salem. Sites were well-spaced and separated by grass and trees. The check-in process was very efficient.
Each site had two sewer hookups. Site #22 was a little unlevel, but manageable. Sites 1-33 are on the side of the park that we like best, furthest from the freeway and train. Restrooms and showers were very nice. $2.00 per load for laundry.
There was some train noise between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. and some freeway noise.
We did not understand why there weren’t more campers here in May, though in July there were more sites being used. We would definitely stay here again if we needed a place between Salem and Portland.
Trader Joe’s is about 20 minutes away.
