Review: When we needed an alternate RV park with proximity to Chicago, this park near Joliet was really the only thing we could find (other than the Cook County parks mentioned in a previous review). They had space available at the last minute, on a blistering hot day, so we were very grateful.

You check in at the hotel, across from the casino, and the RV park is adjacent to the hotel. They provide free breakfast, which we did not use. Our site was level on a short concrete slab, with grass in-between sites. Not many trees or much privacy, but the 50-amp site worked fine and that’s what was important. Their Wifi was pretty decent in the hotel lobby, but not beyond that.

The dump station has a big pothole on one side (filled with sewage), so we approached from the other side to avoid that.

There are pull-through sites here too and they can accommodate very large rigs. We would stay here again if we needed a park in the greater Chicago area. You’re about 15 minutes from the METRA train station in downtown Joliet.
