Review: Though we arrived at noon, the staff let us check in early. We went to our pre-selected site, and then the camp host came by to officially register us. 

This is a clean, uncrowded campground (quite new). Sites were level and on gravel with a little bit of shade. There was a lot of ocotillo in bloom at this time of year. 

Great hiking from the campground (2.5 mile Foothills Loop Hike). And, be sure to do a cave tour while you’re here.  We would stay here again if in the area.
