Review:

This provincial park campground is located right off the Cassiar Highway and right on Kinaskan Lake. Sites #8, #9, and #10 were lakefront sites. We liked #10/11 best.

Even though this campground does not take reservations, we were able to get lakeside sites at 3:00 in the afternoon (midweek and on a Saturday).

Because there are no hookups, we pulled in head first to give us the best view of the lake. I didn’t see any pull-through sites. Sites were varied in size, but most were definitely long enough to accommodate our 31-foot rig and tow vehicle.

Sites are on gravel and fairly level. Each site is separated by lots of trees with plenty of space and privacy between sites. There is a trail that goes partway around the lake, though the rain kept us from doing much walking one day, and another time the trail was closed because of bear activity. When the sun is out, the lake is gorgeous!

We have stayed here 3 times and would definitely stay here again if we drove the Cassiar Highway.
