This campground was a big disappointment, as have been many KOA campgrounds. 

The road around the campground (to drive to our site) was full of potholes, uneven gravel, and lots of dirt.  The turns were narrow and tight.  There was minimal grass and a general sense of “who cares.”

It was hot and smoky from fires in the area, so we just stayed inside.  It’s too bad because the Mt. Shasta area is beautiful, but this campground did not capitalize on that beauty at all.
