Review:

Northern Rockies Lodge & RV Park is located right on stunning Muncho Lake in northern British Columbia. Sites 1-4 area all deluxe lakefront sites and worth the extra bit of money. The remaining RV sites sit in what feels like a gravel parking lot.

You check in at the main lodge (this property is primarily a hotel with about 20 RV sites on the side). Getting into Site #1 was quite tricky because of the angle of the site itself. We had to back in our 31-foot Class A quite a long ways in order to get it in, but it eventually worked. The sites are quite level and on gravel with lots of trees in between each site. Sites 1-4 all have views of the gorgeous lake and mountains.

The restaurant in the lodge serves European specialities like schnitzel and goulash, and their takeout menu has standard American fare like burgers and pizza.

There is only one washer and dryer available for RV-guest use, but the room was very clean. $3.00 CAD per washer load and $3.00 CAD per dryer load.

The view alone is worth the extra price. We would definitely stay here again, but only in Sites 1-4.

In addition, this is the largest year-round lodge along the Alaska Highway, though you probably can’t bring your RV here in winter.
