Review: 

Rocky Mountain RV Park in Gardiner, MT, is just outside the North Entrance to Yellowstone, is an excellent RV park near the Yellowstone River.

The check-in process was done remotely, and we were greeted outside when we pulled up by a staff member who escorted us to our campsite. We were in the top row of the campground, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, including a look into Yellowstone itself. 

Sites are level gravel with grass and some trees in between. The grounds are very well cared for. Next to the campground, some local elk were munching on grass and lounging around. Very fun to see them so close up.

We would definitely stay here again if we needed a place outside of Yellowstone. This park is just a few minutes drive from the North Entrance, and with full hookups, it’s a strong contender to beat out Mammoth Hot Springs campground.
