Review: 

Sun Outdoors Yellowstone North (formerly Rocky Mountain RV Park) in Gardiner, MT, is just outside the North Entrance to Yellowstone, is a very nice RV park near the Yellowstone River.

The check-in process was done remotely, and we were greeted outside when we pulled up by a staff member who escorted us to our campsite. We were in the top row of the campground, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, including a look into Yellowstone itself. 

Sites are level gravel with grass and some trees in between. The grounds are very well cared for. Next to the campground, some local elk were munching on grass and lounging around. Very fun to see them so close up.

Though we liked this campground, we will not stay here again if we need a place outside of Yellowstone. Now that it is part of Sun Outdoors, they have gone corporate. They refused to give us a refund (a week in advance) when I had to cancel our reservation because my mother fell and we needed to reroute our trip. Every other campground we cancelled with gave us at least a partial refund. This one–nothing!

This park is just a few minutes drive from the North Entrance with full hookups.
