Review

Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Park does not lie. It is situated right amongst redwood trees along the San Lorenzo River in a lovely rural spot outside the town of Felton, north of Santa Cruz.

The campground is beautiful with very nice facilities, including clean restrooms with big shower areas, a clubhouse, an outdoor BBQ and bar area overlooking the river, and various outdoor activities scattered around.

Site #59 was labeled a Super Site and a pull-through, but it was pretty short (we got the last site available when we booked). Sites are on gravel and many are fairly unlevel, but they are well-spaced apart with lots of trees to provide privacy.

We would definitely stay here again if in the Santa Cruz area.  One important travel note: Do not try to access the park by heading north on Highway 9 from Santa Cruz. It is too narrow and windy. Come from Highway 17 to Mt Hermon Road to Graham Hill Road, and then south on Highway 9. That part of Highway 9 is pretty wide and straight, so it was no problem for the RV.
