Review:

Stoney Creek RV Park is located about 6 miles north of Seward about a mile off of the Seward Highway. You take a few turns on potholed roads to get to the campground, but once you’re there, it’s quite nice. Sites are wide, level gravel with just a bit of grass in between them.

The office and laundry/shower facility is in the center of the campground. The laundry facilities were not that clean, but there were 4 washers and 4 dryers.

Our friends couldn’t get hookup sites for the first two nights (4th of July weekend) and were out next to the river in a gravel area that is being developed with new sites. They were not happy with the communication, but it was very pretty out by the river with bald eagles circling overhead.

We would probably stay here again if we were in the Seward area. The city campgrounds on the water are basically a parking lot, and they’re hard to get. There is a KOA campground that I think is pretty good.
