Review:

We selected Sun Resorts RV Park as a slightly closer alternative to home vs. those in St. George and Cedar City. Located off I-15 in Nevada just over the Utah border, this site in the small town of Mesquite is located across the street from a supermarket, but still feels like a campground.

It was very hot here at the end of August (106 degrees), but there was a heat wave in the West, so everywhere was hot. Sites are spacious, and there are both back-in and pull-through sites. Sites are level gravel with a few trees around. The pull-through sites have double hook-ups, so you can enter in either direction. Sites are a bit close together, but otherwise very adequate. The campground has cable hookups and decent wifi.

Sites 33 and 34 would be the most shaded if we were to stay here again. We would definitely consider staying here again, especially if it wasn’t so hot. It’s 358 miles from our campground in Valencia, so that’s doable in a day.
