Review:
Tok RV Village and Cabins is a great first stop when driving into Alaska. Right off the Alaska Highway about 85 miles from the Canadian border, this full-service rv campground has friendly staff, well-marked roads and sites, very clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, and a large variety of campsites.
Pull-through sites have a couple of trees in between them, and the entire campground is surrounded by trees. Sites are level gravel spaces with a bit of grass in between sites. We preferred Site #607, which we stayed in on the way back–more trees and space than #101.
The campground is a short walk to Fast Eddy’s Restaurant, across the street from Vitus Energy Gas and a Three Bears Outpost, and one mile east of the Tok Cutoff to Glennallen. Cindy comes around in the evening with an ice cream cart–very friendly.
We would definitely stay here again when driving to/from Alaska.
