Review:

Waterton Townsite Campground is a large national park campground situated (as its name implies) right in the town of Waterton Park. It is also situated right on Upper Waterton Lake with lots of grassy areas and trees.

Campsites are level gravel with grass in-between, and sites in Loops A and B have full hookups. We had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains and easy access to walk and bike around the town.

While there aren’t a lot of trees for privacy in the A section of the campground, the sites are large and well-spaced, so we did not feel cramped at all.

We would definitely stay here again if we visited Waterton Lakes National Park.

Deer frequent the Townsite Campground.
