Review: West Glacier RV Park and Cabins is owned by Pursuit, which owns virtually every business in West Glacier. They have a monopoly on services and therefore can charge what they want. This was the most expensive campsite we have ever had, but the location is very convenient to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park.

There is a good view of mountains from the campground, though wildfire smoke made the view hazy during our stay.

Sites are level gravel with some grass in between. Though there are surrounding forests, there are few trees between campsites, and it was brutally hot while we were here. Site #35 was not a great location for the cats—I had to carry Leilani over to some perimeter shrubs and didn’t even try to take Danno out.

Services are all good here, and there is a bike path that connects to the main part of West Glacier (and beyond, for the adventurous). We would probably stay here again if we wanted to be in West Glacier, even though the price is high. You’re paying for access to one of the most beautiful places on the continent.
