Bali to Komodo, Part 4: The Videos

We’re wrapping up this amazing scuba diving trip between Bali and Komodo, Indonesia. If you missed one of our blogs from this trip, here are the links:

Here are three short movies that we put together from our GoPro and phone video clips, complete with music.

This first video is about 13 minutes long and covers our diving from Bali to Sangeang Island. Dives start near Lombok and the Gili Islands on Day 1, then on to Moyo Island on day 2 and end on days 3 and 4 near Sangeang Island. Most are muck dives because of all the volcanic islands. There is even an exciting night dive with multiple octopuses and a lot of weird creatures, especially nudibranchs.

The following video is 7 minutes long and is all in Komodo National Park. We saw many creatures on muck and reef dives but we also got on land and walked in Komodo National Park to view the Komodo dragons. Not to be outdone, we did 3 dives with multiple manta rays. Enjoy!

While we were on Bali at the beginning of the trip, we visited the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud. Here is a short video of some cool long-tailed macaques, taken from Cindy’s phone footage. This was just a 10-minute walk from our hotel in Ubud.

As always, thanks for reading and viewing along with us! Stay tuned for the next adventure.

  1. Phyllis, we have run out of adjectives for how cool Indonesia is. We literally do not know where to point the camera sometimes. And we often cannot tell what is the creature or the plant or the coral. So many beautiful colors. Amazing is right!
