Review:
Kathleen Lake Campground is the only campground in Kluane National Park. Sites are not right on the lake, but it is a short walk to get to the lake from the campground.
The road into the campground is rough, but doable at a slow pace. We had reserved Site #39, but it was very steep and not suitable for our RV. They only had one unreserved site available that day, so we traded Site #39 for Site #11 (with a very nice couple in a camping van). Site #11 worked well for us, and Site #30 worked well for our friends.
Sites were on gravel and dirt with lots of trees and bushes separating each site. Our site backed up into the forest and was very private.
We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling on the Haines Highway.
