Meziadin Lake Provincial Park Campground

Meziadin Lake Provincial Park Campground

Stewart-Cassiar Hwy 37, Meziadin Junction, BC V0C 1L0

Date Visited: July 2026

Site #51 — electric only (also #50, #46), 30 amp

We paid: $47 CAD because BC Parks charges $20 for non-BC residents on top of the regular campground fee

Review: There are only about 10-15 campsites that have electricity at Meziadin Lake, so we booked as soon as the sites became available (3 months ahead).

Campsites are back-in on level dirt. There are pit toilets and a hand-water pump, but no showers. Only hard-sided units are allowed because of grizzly bears in the area. There is no dump station here.

But it is a beautiful place to camp and a great spot to overnight along the Cassiar Highway. There isn’t much to do there, unless you kayak or paddleboard on the lake. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling on the Cassiar Highway. Having the electric sites was helpful because the weather was pretty hot.
