Review:
This campground is all about location, location, location. Located just 1/2 mile from the entrance to Zion National Park, with fantastic 360-degree views, it can charge what it wants.
Our site was muddy (we arrived in the rain) with a bit of gravel, fairly level, with a few small trees. Once the rain stopped and the mud dried up, it was much better for walking around. Some sites are on the river and a little more spread out. Our site was very close to other sites, though otherwise adequate.
The campground is well-run and the check-in process was smooth. The camp store seems pretty well-stocked. We were able to ride our bikes from the campground into the park (be sure to use the pedestrian entrance) with a dedicated bike lane through much of the town.
We would probably stay here again if we came to Zion National Park, but there was a very nice campground in Virgin River that also looked good. You just can’t beat this location, though.
